Edward and his daughter, Caterina ("Cathy"), represent the 3rd and 4th generations in a rich family tradition of law practice at Mainardi & Mainardi
Cathy's great-grandfather, Andrew Mainardi, Sr. started practicing law during the great depression. Himself a first-generation American, Andrew started his work helping immigrants in Paterson, NJ establish themselves with confidence. Andrew had three sons, all of whom were first-generation college graduates. After college Andrew, Jr., Edward, Sr., and Richard completed law school and joined the family practice.
Once they graduated law school, generation three joined their grandfather in the firm. Stephen retired in 2022, and Edward still practices. Cathy became a fourth-generation attorney at Mainardi & Mainardi in 2015, when she joined her Dad in the firm. Ed and Cathy are licensed and actively practice law in New Jersey and Tennessee.

Edward Mainardi graduated magna cum laude from Brown University in Providence, RI in 1980, and received his jurus doctor from New York University in New York City in 1983.
Ed has been practicing law with Mainardi & Mainardi, PC since 1983. He has broad experience in real estate and commercial matters including:

Cathy graduated summa cum laude from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA in 2010, and cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law. While in law school, she served on the law review and as the Notes and Comments Editor in her third year.
